updates

There will be updates all day long today. The first chapter just needs a bit more editing and I'll upload some more poems/songs later on. Sorry for the delay but school and relationship stuff has unfortunately come first. I have been under tons of stress but I'll catch up today and tomorrow.

Sorry again

Movie Review- "Cloverfield"

Well they blew up New York.............AGAIN. But this time you watched New York blow up from the lens of a video camera. The constant shaking, swerving, and all around jerkish movements made me sick. The story wasn't even good. Some kind of monster lands in New York and starts bowing things up. A bunch of 20 year olds at a party come out on the roof and then start running and screaming. They then go looking for the one guys ex-girlfriend because she calls him and asks for help. Stupid, very stupid. The girl lives in the Midtown which is where the monster happens to be. Between running around in the Subway, giant man-eating spiders whose venom causes your body to start spewing blood all over the place and the nameless monster who you never get more than a glance at, they finally find her. The guy and his girl at the very end confess their great love for each other on camera and then die. The monster was pretty cool but you never got to see it. It was a typical Hollywood attempt at horror. Everyone ends up watching as everyone else around them dies only to then die somewhat later. I almost threw up. It was NOT worth your hard-earned money. On a scale of 1-10 {10 being best) it gets a 3.

Movie Review-"Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium"

Ok so on Friday (the day after thanksgiving) I went with my family to see "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium". From the trailer it seems like a kids movie that looks cheesy (don't they all?). It is all about a magical tory store called "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium". Natalie Portman plays Molly Mahoney, a somewhat childish 23 year old who is the store manager. She is also a brilliant piano player but lacks confidence. Mr. Magorium is played by Dustin Hoffman. In the movie he describes himself as an avid shoe-wearer among other interesting things. He ownes the store and has decided it's his time to go (die) because hes on his last pair of shoes. So, he hires an accountant (Jason Bateman) to calculate the worth of the story. His name is Henry but everyone calls him Mutant throughout the movie. Another character is Eric Applebaum (Zach Mills) who helps run the store with Mahoney. He collects hats and wears a different one every day. He is friendless (except for Mahoney) and needs some friends badly.
Mr. Magorium is giving the store to Mahoney and when the magical toy store finds out, it starts to rebel by turning grey (literally) and throwing a "temper tantrum". Mahoney doesn't think she has the magic necessary to bring the store back.
All in all it's a funny movie and I reccommend it if you need a funny movie to see.
